Since 2000, this tiny wood paneled pub is providing a refuge for beer drinkers. We offer 27 beers on tap, featuring mainly Ontario Craft Breweries. Our nice little pub is home to all types of artisans. A laid back crowd that settles into plush booths and high tables around the piano, or outside in the 50 seat hidden back patio. Service is traditionally Irish, meaning you go to the beer rather than it coming to your table. The Dagger's quality pints are matched by an eclectic, unpredictable set of live musicians ans dj's playing everything from Celtic, Bluegrass, chest rattling dub and deep Soul to Indie Rock and trashy Brit Pop - we have something for everyone! Our food specials include Pulled Pork Sammies and Yam-topped Shepherds Pie. The adventurous might be tempted to try our deep fried pickles and Mars Bars.
394 College Street, Toronto, M5T1S7
This College Street den fits its name perfectly. Small, dark and with an entrance you might miss altogether unless you were looking for it, the Cloak & Dagger makes up for its smaller space with its great beer selection and wonderful staff. Serving up mostly local craft beer on their taps, the staff is willing to help you out with whatever you’re after, including a perhaps more obscure choice. In the warmer months, the back patio opens the place up and offers a handful of cask varieties to shake things up. Live music is frequent and food specials as well. Don’t expect a large menu but what they do they do well, like the All You Can Eat tacos or annual Lobsterfest dishes.
