Where to Party on Grand Prix Weekend in Montreal

Yeah, the races are cool and all but as far as we’re concerned the Canadian Grand Prix is mostly about the drinking, partying with tourists and general public shamelessness.

Local clubs host insane parties, streets are closed to traffic and race fans come from all over the world to be part of it.

If you plan on being part of the madness next weekend, strap on a helmet and brace yourself. There are lots of event happening all over the city to get your rocks off.

Here’s a rundown of just a few things going on during the 44th Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.

Thursday, June 6th

The Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival is happening all weekend, beginning on Thursday night with live DJ performances and headlining act Classified beginning at 9:30pm.

After the festival wraps up, head to Club Entourage to get nice and tuned at their fifth annual Ignition Grand Prix party with $3 shots, $5 mixed drinks and $5 beers.

Friday, June 7th

Club Entourage will be hosting its Fuel party sponsored by MUMM Champagne after the 14th annual LG Grand Prix Street Festival on Crescent. Doors open at 10pm.

Club La Boom will be hosting their official Grand Prix party with two floors of music provided by DJ’s Sound Man, Sweetdrop and Seven. Party starts at 8pm.

Young Jeezy’s official tour DJ Baby Yu will be at Muzique along with DJ Payce and DJ Deleon for the official Grand Prix Commencement Party on Friday night.

Saturday, June 8th

Toronto’s DJ Wristpect will be at Muzique’s The World is Yours Grand Prix Gala on Saturday night along with Avi Large, Jericho and Kidd.

Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Tego Calderon will be at Copacabana to perform his biggest hits “Pa’ que Retozen,” “Metele Sazon,” “Elegante De Boutique” and more.

Be part of the Bagaetelle brunch at Terrasses Bonsecours beginning at 12pm on Saturday with music by DJ’s Father Son and Stan Courtois in the house all the way from New York City and Chris Samba from the U.K.

Sunday, June 9th

Montreal’s own DJ Thomas H will be at the Official Canadian Grand Prix Closing Party on Sunday night along with DJ Payce.
