Taste of Yaletown 2012 Begins Next Week

The 8th annual Taste of Yaletown is going down next week, giving wine and food enthusiasts the chance to experience some of Vancouver’s finest restaurants for less.

It’s happening from October 17th – 27th when participating restaurants will offer fixed-rate, three-course menus priced at $25, $35 and $45. Top chefs and restaurants in Yaletown will bring out the big guns to let guests sample their best offerings without having to spend an arm and a leg.

Here’s the scoop:

Restaurants participating in the Taste of Yaletown will all come together at the kickoff party happening at the MINI Yaletown dealership on the 17th. The red carpet event will feature food and drinks from Glowbal Grill, George Lounge, The New Oxford, Hamilton Street Grill, Society, Yaletown L’Antipasto, Caché Bistro, Killjoy, and Minami.

The party will include two complimentary drinks as well as the chance to chat it up with executive chefs and take home exclusive recipe cards to try your best to imitate the pros.

Tickets to the Taste of Yaletown Premier are still available here

After the kickoff, all participating restaurants will be celebrating Taste of Yaletown at their respective locations. Organizers have just released the full list of restaurants, menus and pricing here.

Contact the restaurants directly to book your reservations as soon as possible. This is an awesome way to experience some of the best restaurants in Yaletown without having to pay normal prices.

The Shake Up Yaletown event will be happening on October 25th inside Minami Restaurant. It’ll feature some of the best bartenders in Yaletown mixing award-winning cocktails as well as complimentary menu items from Minami.

You can still order your Shake Up Yaletown tickets here.

A portion of all proceeds from participating restaurants throughout the entire Taste of Yaletown festival will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank just in time for winter.
