Sister-owned Parkdale Parlour Offers a New Way to Get Tattooed

Jinks Art Factory is the name of a brand new Parkdale shop which opened earlier this month.

Jinks could be described as one-part tattoo parlour, one-part café, one-part art studio, and one-part clothing store and jewelry shop. In a nutshell though, it’s a place that celebrates art in multiple forms.

Owned by twin sisters Sarah and Jen Wetmore – the latter of the two being the resident tattoo artist – Jinks is where guests can sip lattes while getting some ink or go for something a little less gutsy and browse through hand-crafted jewelry, natural beauty supplies, unique clothing, work by local artists, and more.

While Jen minds the tattoo needle, Sarah runs the café by serving organic, fair trade and bird-friendly coffee, as well as a variety of other drinks and pastries.

While still under a month old, Jinks Art Factory at the very least offers an environment unlike other places to get a tattoo in Toronto. We wish the sisters the best of luck.
