Food Cart Fest Celebrates Vancouver Street Eats

The city’s top street vendors will join forces for the first-ever Food Cart Fest at the Waldorf Hotel starting at the end of the month.

It will be happening every Sunday from July 29th ‘til September 2nd giving foodies the opportunity to go beast mode on everything from BBQ sandwiches to Indian grub and calorie-cramming sweets.

Cleverly-named Holy Perogy, Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Street Meet, Off the Wagon, Re-Up, and Pig on the Street are just a handful of the vendors serving up fresh, cheap and damn good eats.

But it’s not just food. There will also be over 50 street vendors selling everything from clothing and jewelry to art and crafts. The free weekly events will also feature live music, DJ’s and other family entertainment.

It’s happening in the parking lot of the Waldorf Hotel on July 29th and will continue every Sunday ‘til September 2nd from 12pm – 6pm.
