Here’s our rundown of some of the biggest and baddest Halloween events and attractions in Vancouver that aren’t for the weak-bladdered wussies.

Fright Nights

Fright Nights is happening at PNE Fairgrounds in Hastings Park and features different haunted houses as well as the classic rides at Playland.

Potter’s House of Horrors

Potter’s House of Horrors is in Surrey. It’s so scary there are two different versions. The scarier one happens after 7pm nightly.

Judge Dee and the Chinese Garden Murders

This annual event isn’t for the wussies either. It happens at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown.

Zombie Combat Zone

This takes about six months of planning in advance and will start taking bookings for next season in the spring of 2013. Why is it so popular? Well, because everyone wonders how they’d survive a zombie apocalypse and this gives you the opportunity to do so with guns and zombies in creepy 57-acre forest.
