One of the hottest Canadian hip-hop DJ’s in the game will be performing live in the coming weeks at The Standard nightclub in New Westminster.

Don’t miss DJ Kemo live this Friday, March 6th for a very special event presented by Maxim Magazine, also featuring J-Swing and Flip-Out of Those MF’s DJ Crew, DJ’s Xkuizit and Jayville as well as Vancouver’s own Sik Vik.

The gorgeous NC Models will also be in the house to heat things up for what promises to be one of the biggest hip-hop events of 2009 so far.

Known for being one of the founding members of Canadian rap group The Rascalz, DJ Kemo has been in the game since first releasing music in 1992. Kemo has produced tracks for international hip-hop, R&B, Latin and reggae artists, drawing influences from his Latin background and Canadian upbringing.

Production credits include working with everyone from K-OS and Kardinal Offishall, Pitbull and NORE, to Free Agents and Barrington Levy. His style allows for a diverse range of collaborations with varied influences on his signature sound. Known worldwide for his distinct brand of beat-making, DJ Kemo has carved himself a spot in Canadian hip-hop history.

Witness the man in action this Friday, March 6th. Doors open at 9pm, ladies get in free before 11pm.

Dress code will be casual. No hoodies, hats or shorts will be permitted.
