British style magazine Dazed & Confused made headlines this month after it was first announced that its latest issue – featuring bold and outspoken American rapper Azealia Banks – was to be banned in seven counties.
The cover has finally been released and naturally, it’s everything you’d expect from an artist that fights on Twitter and fearlessly sings, “I guess that c*** getting eaten.”
Banks is featured on the September issue with a blown-up condom to her lips, a decorated middle finger and the headline “AZEALIA BANKS BLOWS UP.” Sure it’s a little on the controversial side is this seriously what we’re considering controversial though? It’s just an inflated raspberry condom.
Considering that the issue won’t be available in Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, Malta, India or Switzerland we thought the cover would’ve really pushed the boundaries. A condom just seems so mundane. Oh well, nothing helps your reputation better than a banned cover in seven countries. Well played, Banks.
