Ambleside Spa Will Put Australian Plum in Your Hair Because it’s Good for it

A spa in West Vancouver is importing a fruit from the land down under for an all-natural hair care.

The kakadu plum grows naturally in Northern Australia and is slowly becoming a popular ingredient used in new hair care products. Vancouver hairstylist

Mika Ozeki Saunderson certainly believes in it and carries sulfate-free hair care products containing the kakadu plum made by Toronto’s Niko Cosmetics at her Yoko’s Haute Coiffure and B-yu Head Spa in Ambleside Village.

The kakadu plum has a lot of different uses, but it is most notable for its high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants.

Saunderson’s spa has been open for over 25 years but she decided to go all-natural in 2008 and will be joining Green Circle Salons next month. The organization promotes non-polluting practices in an industry notorious for disposing of hazardous chemicals.

Among many other all-natural products, Yoko’s Haute Coiffure and B-yu Head Spa is now stocking Niko Cosmetics and Saunderson is hosting free events so guests can check the line out to experience it for themselves.
