8 Stores to buy TOMS in Vancouver

8 Stores to buy TOMS in Vancouver

The great thing about TOMS is its mission to help everyday, boring people like you and I improve the lives of children in need and all it takes is buying a pair of canvas slippers. So don’t bother with community service and charity work – I mean, obviously don’t quit since the world needs more people that do so but there’s just a simpler way to give back.

After purchasing from one of these eight stores in Vancouver be sure to also share the wealth. Let everyone in your life know that you just discovered (on your own) this really great organization that helps children and stuff and like, you totally contributed. What’s the point in being a humanitarian if no one knows?

8 Stores to buy TOMS in Vancouver
  • Aritzia

701 Georgia Street West , Vancouver

Oh Aritzia, you wonderful bitch you. Just writing this post allowed some time to browse all the things I can’t afford and really question whether or not I need to pay the phone bill. It’s a dark, wonderful place. Brands include Wilfred, Zimmermann, 7 For All Mankind, Alexander Wang, Karen Walker, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and more. Seriously, just get in and get out when purchasing your “casual, stylish and comfy” pair of TOMS. There’s only so much beating your credit card can take.

  • Sitka Surf Shop

    1864 4th Avenue , Vancouver

If you hate getting harassed at the high-end boutiques (which p.s., not their fault their bosses chastise them for every missed “hello, let me harass the fuck out of you) then check out Sitka Surf Shop. In fact, it’s so laid back that you’ll probably end up spending an excessive amount of time picking through the racks.

  • Red Sky Clothing & Footwear

    1520 Duranleau Street , Vancouver

You’re all about that outdoor lifestyle. Doing a 6am boot camp is just as natural as doing Bikram yoga in a 105°F heated room. Therefore, you’d feel more at home at Red Sky Clothing & Footwear located on Granville Island. The shop is stocked with a variety of outdoor clothing, footwear and accessories. In addition to TOMS there are Birkenstock, Vibram FiveFingers, Reef, North Face, Sperry and more.

  • Plenty

    1107 Robson Street , Vancouver

Plen+y is like Aritzia’s equally beautiful sister and you hate her just as much as the latter but secretly wish to be the both of them? I’m still talking about a store by the way. Located in Kitsilano, Metrotown, Robson St., Richmond Centre, and uptown Victoria there’s very little difficulty finding in getting to the go-to fashion destination. The wide assortment of renowned labels includes Propaganda, Ribbon, Ribbon Luxe, Big Blue, and more.

  • BOYSCO (Robson)

    1044 Robson Street , Vancouver

Forever catering to the young yuppies in the city, the Boys’ Co operates five locations in the Greater Vancouver area and has been running for about 28 years. Don’t let the hype turn you off before making a visit and deciding for yourself – sometimes it’s hard to hate a good thing and this place is a really good thing. Aside from TOMS the list of brands include Dr. Martens, Fred Perry, Herschel, Superdry, J Brand, Naked & Famous Denim, and so much more.

  • Pacific Boarder

    1793 4th Avenue West , Vancouver

Pacific Boarder offers the best selection of snow, skate, and surf apparel and accessories. The service is off the charts at the West 4th Ave – friendly, knowledgeable and approachable while the selection is ideal for beginners or veterans in any type of sport (except for the likes of rugby, football, hockey or cricket). Brands include Volcom, Adidas, Roxy, Hurley, Obey, Vans, Converse, Burton, Oakley, and more.

  • Rowan Sky

334 Cordova Street West , Vancouver

The shoe selection at Rowan Sky is on point – of course, there are a variety of accessories as well but that’s not really what’s important. The Gastown boutique reeks of that sweet leather from such designers as Miista (love you forever), Wolverine, Cougar, Kenneth Cole, Tiger of Sweden, Blundstone, and more. The service is also impeccable but unfortunately, the store doesn’t issue refunds so make sure the TOMS you want are perfection.

  • Gravity Pope

    2205 4th Avenue West , Vancouver

Of course this list includes the independently owned boutique Gravity Pope, which has been running shit for the past two decades. The carefully curated collection of footwear from all over the world include such brands as Gentle Souls by K. Cole, Acne, Beau Coops for Karen Walker, Camilla Skovgaard, See by Chloe and more. Make sure to dress up before visiting – the plank walnut floors, marble tables and sputnik light fixtures won’t appreciate your sweatpants.
