12 Photos of Drake's Sold-Out Birthday Concert at the Air Canada Centre

Well, it’s going to be hard to top the birthday party Drake threw last night with 13,700 friends for a sold out concert at the Air Canada Centre - the Toronto stop of his “Would You Like a Tour?” tour, which  also landed on his 27th birthday.

L.A. singer Miguel opened the night with a dropkicking incident-free set before Atlanta rapper Future took the stage followed by Drizzy to fully hoist Toronto on his back. “My name is Aubrey Drake Graham. I was born on October 24th, 1986, and I was born and raised in the greatest city in the motherfucking world: Toronto, Canada.”

Love him or hate him, his pride in this city is something undeniable as he continually expressed his love for Toronto while running through his huge catalog of hits including “Headlines,” “Fuckin’ Problems,” “The Motto,” and “HYFR” before leaving the stage and returning for an encore performance of “Started From the Bottom” to put the night to an end.

The effort he put into his performance alone was something to be commended, with a set that included nearly 30 songs and spanned over an hour and a half.
